I am often asked what type of photography do I do – normally in relation to wedding photography and I have answered this particular question on our Questions page. However as a photographer I enjoy all types of photography from studio, portrait, landscapes, residential, aerial and everything else in-between. With wedding photography even if you are doing one style as directed by the brief of the wedding party – you will still be doing a range of shots throughout so you need to be doing all types of photography continually.

I attended the recent Pro-Am event for the Scottish Open held at North Berwick and it gives an excellent opportunity to capture some well-known faces and golfers in a variety of scenes either on the course or in the crowds. Who knew that Naga Munchetty of BBC “Breakfast” had such vivid eyes – but the camera picks it up. There are a lot of similarities to wedding photography with a full day with a camera making sure you capture the detail – so enjoy the action through the photographer’s lens.
